Our Fisherman’s Lodge is a secluded two bedroom cottage in an idyllic setting with uninterupted views, accessed via a quiet country lane, and directly overlooking the beautiful Fonthill Lake.
Under two hours direct train from London Waterloo to Tisbury, with transport from/to Tisbury Station available on request, this is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday, artist’s retreat or weekend break.
Comfortably furnished and fully equipped, the Lodge is surrounded by wonderful countryside and excellent walks, just a short stroll to The Beckford Arms and close to the shops in Tisbury and Hindon.
On the ground floor there is a spacious open plan sitting/dining room with wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There are two cloakrooms with WCs and hand basins, one with bath and shower and we supply cosy duvets, fine cotton bedding and soft fluffy towels.
Ajoining the Lodge is a small lean to for washing machine, wellies and bikes etc. There is also ample parking.
